Game Recap:

Alltel Stadium - After seven weeks of close losses and tight wins, the Redskins finally got an easy win. Albert Connell caught three touchdown passes from Brad Johnson and the Washington defense recorded six sacks of Jaguars QB Mark Brunell.

The Redskins got in front early as Deion Sanders intercepted a pass that bounced off of a Jacksonville receiver’s hands. From the Jaguars 38, the Redskins used five plays to get into the end zone on Stephen Davis’ one-yard run.

The home team responded to take a 10-7 lead but two of the Johnson to Connell TD connections gave Washington the lead for good.
