Texas Stadium - The Redskins clawed back from a 17-0 deficit to pull within 17-13 and 24-20, but Dallas converted key plays to pull away in the fourth quarter.
It appeared that the rout was on as the Cowboys seemed to have the Redskins intimidated early on. On Dallas’ first eight possessions, they got four touchdowns and a field goal. The Redskins did manage to stay in the game on the strength of a pair of Brad Johnson touchdown passes. Still, Dallas maintained control and won easily.
