Kingdome - By the time the fourth quarter rolled around, the Redskins had gone 15 quarters without an offensive touchdown. That string was broken as Mark Rypien found Terry Orr for a 26-yard score to clinch the win for Washington.
The Washington defense held the Seattle passing game in check with two sacks and two interceptions. Seahawks quarterback Stan Gelbaugh was nine for 24 for just 75 yards.
