Metrodome - Chip Lohmiller, returning to the stadium where he starred for the Minnesota Golden Gophers in college, kicked five field goals and earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors as the Redskins beat the Vikings.

Lohmiller booted four of his three-pointers in the first half, including one from 52 yards and another from 45 as time expired in the first half. That one gave Washington a 12-0 lead at intermission.

After a Minnesota comeback, Lohmiller’s game winner from 49 yards made it through with plenty of distance to spare with just over a minute left.
