Busch Stadium - Mike Thomas rushed for a team-record 195 yards and scored Washington’s only touchdown in their win over the Cardinals.
The Redskins took the lead for good on Thomas’ 19-yard touchdown dash with just over six minutes left in the third quarter. Moseley’s field goal in the fourth quarter gave his team a nine-point lead. They managed to fend off a late Cardinal threat to hold on for the win.
