RFK Stadium - Larry Brown ran for 148 yards to become the Redskinsí all-time leading rusher and Jerry Smith caught two touchdown passes to lead the Skins.

Brown surpassed Don Bosselerís career mark of 3,112 yards halfway through the second quarter. The home crowd roared as Brown was given the ball.
