Busch Memorial Stadium - Reserve running back Roy Shivers galloped 42 yards for a touchdown that started a 21-0 second-quarter outburst that pushed the Cardinals past the Redskins.
The Redskins did manage a 4-yard touchdown run by Gerry Allen in the third quarter, but the Cardinals answered with two more touchdowns and a field goal to make it a certified rout.
