Soldier Field - Bobby Joe Conrad scored 25 points on three touchdowns and seven extra points to lead the Cardinals’ rout over the Redskins.
This one was over quickly. Late in the first quarter, Chicago quarterback King Hill found John Crow wide open in the end zone for a nine-yard touchdown pass, Conrad scored his first touchdown less than four minutes later on a well-executed 35-yard reverse, and, just before halftime, Hill threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Sonny Randle and it was 21-0 at halftime.
