Game Recap:

Cominskey Park - Bill Dudley kicked an 18-yard field goal with 15 seconds left to give the Redskins the win over the Cardinals. Gene Brito’s jaw-dropping catch of a Sammy Baugh pass set up the game-winning boot.

The game was tied at 17 when the Redskins took over at their own 12 with three minutes to play. Dudley caught a pass for 14 yards that got the Skins out of the hole and then runs by Johnny Papit and Goode got Washington near midfield. Soon after that, from the Chicago 39, Baugh threw to the well-covered Brito, who stole the ball away from a pair of would-be defenders and came down at the 11-yard line. Dudley came in immediately and booted the game winner.
