Game Recap:

Cleveland Municipal Stadium - The Browns drove 80 yards to the go-ahead touchdown late in the game and then had to survive a 71-yard kickoff return by Washington's Eddie Saenz to hang on to beat the Redskins.

Cleveland took the lead when Otto Graham masterfully led the long TD drive and then had to endure a major scare before chalking this one up in the win column. Saenz took the ensuing kickoff two yards deep in the end zone and didn't stop running until Ken Gorgal brought him down at the Cleveland 31. The Redskins got to the 16 before a fourth-down pass came up short.
