Briggs Stadium - Sammy Baugh’s scheduled day off was cancelled after the winless Lions led 3-0 at halftime and Baugh came through, throwing two second-half touchdown passes to lead the win. One scoring toss went to Andy Farkas, who did a great job of separating himself from his defender, and the other was to Ed Cifers to wrap it up early in the fourth.
